About John-Henry Lambin,

He was diagnosed (early) with severe asthma.  At only a year old, he spent a lot of time in the hospital getting breathing treatments & oxygen to get strong enough to do the activities any child would like to do!

John-Henry was (and still is) very active, always with a desire to keep busy. When it came time for school, between the hospital stays and keeping up with school work, it was impossible to get it all done!  In his words, "I feel like I am drowning!".  At 5 yrs. old, we had him tested for (what seemed like) everything, (eyes, ears, reading, etc..).  What we did learn was that John-Henry was also diagnosed with dyslexia, a learning disability that makes reading and writing almost impossible!

Well, between the asthma and now the dyslexia, wow we had a situation that needed lots of learning and education!  He was tested for ADD (which is a commonly misdiagnosed for dyslexia) which he didn't have!  It was later learned that he was dyslexic.  (please see the link for dyslexia for more information).

We are so proud of John-Henry and how he has taken his health and learning challenges and turned them into achievement to help other kids!
