| Rachael was selected as a
National Award Winner for the 2004 Build A Bear Huggable Hero
Award for her work with Kids Helping Kids with Asthma.
Festivities took her to St. Louis, MO to the national BearQuarters to
meet owner, Maxine Clark and the other kids from across the country.
We spent time at the St. Louis Humane Society and met Actors; Marc John
Jeffries and Madeline Sweetin... Rachael and the kids (including her
brothers) will be in the 2005 Build A Bear Calendar ! |

Prudential Spirit of the Community

The following day, she and John-Henry are guests of Rep. Juanita Melinda
McDonald on the House floor meeting other representatives and telling
them about HR2023, a bill to allow children to carry life saving
medications on themselves. Her photo and story was on C-Span that
evening when HR2023 was presented. This once in a lifetime event
made her realize that kids do have a voice! |
